Terms of service

These terms cover this website, the Helldivers II: Liberated software, and the servers we set up for Patreon supporters. By using any of them you agree to these terms.

An unofficial project

Helldivers II: Liberated is an independent, community-built project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Arrowhead Game Studios or Sony Interactive Entertainment. Helldivers is a trademark of its respective owners.

Own the game. No piracy.

Liberated replaces the game's server, not the game. Every player must own Helldivers 2 on Steam and launch it through Steam. We do not condone piracy, and you may not use the project to play without a legitimate copy or to harm the official game, its services or other players.

The open-source software

The software is free on GitHub under the license published there. It is beta software provided as is, without warranty of any kind.

Supporter servers

• A server is a perk of an active Patriot-tier membership on Patreon. Payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Patreon under its terms.
• Servers are currently set up by hand, so they are not instant. We'll email you when yours is ready.
• One server per supporter, for you and the people you invite.
• When your membership ends or payment fails, your server is shut down after the period you paid for. Its data, including your Galactic War, may then be deleted.
• Liberated is in beta. We don't guarantee uptime, and progress or war data can be lost. We may change, pause or move servers to keep the service running.
• We may suspend a server that is used to break the law, attack others or overload the infrastructure. You are responsible for who you invite and what happens on your server.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or lost data, and our total liability for a supporter server is limited to what you paid for it over the previous three months. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
