Helldivers II: Liberated is an unofficial community project. This page explains what this website (hd2privateserver.com) collects, why, and who it is shared with. We keep it to the minimum the site needs to work.
Just browsing
The site uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes technical request data such as your IP address and browser type to serve pages and keep the service secure.
Signing in with Patreon
The server perk is checked through Patreon. When you choose “Continue with Patreon” and approve the request on Patreon, we receive:
- your Patreon user ID, name, email address and profile image;
- whether you are an active member of the Liberated campaign, and your current tier.
We use this only to decide whether you can request a server. The Patreon access token is used once and then discarded. The result is stored in a signed session cookie in your browser that expires after one hour; a second short-lived cookie (10 minutes) protects the sign-in against forgery. Signing out deletes the session cookie. Your payment details stay with Patreon and are never shared with us.
Requesting a server
When you submit the deploy form, we send ourselves an email with your server name, chosen region, the email address you entered, and your Patreon name, user ID and tier. We use it to set up your server and to contact you about it. Emails are delivered through Resend.
If your Patreon membership ends or a payment fails, Patreon notifies us with your Patreon user and member IDs and your membership status, so we can wind down the server once your paid period is over.
Who processes your data
- Vercel hosts this website.
- Patreon handles memberships, payments and sign-in, under its own privacy policy.
- Resend delivers the request emails.
We do not sell your data or use it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Session cookies expire within an hour. Server requests are kept while you have a server with us and for as long as we need them to support you or settle a dispute, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority. To make a request, message us on our Patreon page.
Changes
If we change how the site handles your data, we'll update this page and its date.
